Wrinkle Relaxing Treatments
Wrinkles are caused by repeated facial muscle contraction during expressions. Over time these lines become deeper and more prominent. Botulinum toxin injected into these muscles causes them to relax and in turn causes facial lines and wrinkles to soften or disappear depending on their depth.
Additionally, in trained practitioner’s hands, these injections can also be used to relax muscles and by the action of opposing muscles create lifting effects. Treatment duration varies, but typically one treatment lasts 3-4 months.

Treatment

The procedure lasts up to 45 minutes depending on area.

No anaesthetic is needed for this and there is very little discomfort.
Recovery

The majority of people require no downtime following these procedures and can return to work and normal activities the same day.
Result

Results are seen 10-14 days after treatment.

Results can be expected to last up to 4 months.

Top ups after two weeks if required.
